In the Black Forest, Germany's highest low mountain range, a diverse paradise awaits winter sports enthusiasts with activities such as alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and sledding. With over 100 lifts and well-groomed slopes, the ski area at Feldberg offers exciting skiing and snowboarding, while 2,000 groomed kilometers of cross-country trails reveal spectacular mountain landscapes to cross-country skiers. The enchanted winter landscape also invites snowshoeing and winter hiking, while a good 950 kilometers of rolled hiking trails provide the perfect backdrop for winter activities.

Alpine skiing

Winter sports enthusiasts can look forward to a wide range of ski resorts in the Black Forest vacation region. With over 100 lifts and well-groomed slopes, the region offers variety for every taste and level. From beginners to experienced professionals, everyone will find their perfect slope here. Particularly worth mentioning is the ski area on the Feldberg with 5 chairlifts, 9 T-bar lifts and 16 ski slopes with 30 km of slopes – from children’s lifts to World Cup slopes, everything is here.

Cross country skiing

For all cross-country skiing fans, the Black Forest is a true paradise with more than 2,000 kilometers of prepared trails in winter. Whether in classic style or on the skating track: cross-country skiers will find a modern and extensively laid out network of trails, which stretches over mountain and valley, through breathtaking panoramic landscapes and the quiet winter forest. The Black Forest thus offers countless opportunities to explore the winter wonderland on cross-country skis.

Snowshoe / Winter Hiking

The hikes on the snow-covered trails offer unforgettable experiences, which can start directly at the Luisenhöhe. In the winter sports villages in the Black Forest, a good 950 kilometers of hiking trails are rolled. Whether with snowshoes or on foot, the snowy Black Forest and the breathtaking views on the open heights provide unforgettable winter experiences.
